Baby Wipe Technique

Hello there, so glad you dropped by

Today's  card I made some time ago at my dear friend Peg's.  So you must realise it's not from my sawdust head, but her fantastic creative brain.  All I did was add the sentiment so I could send it to my cousin for her birthday.  I enjoyed doing the baby wipe technique at the time but must admit I haven't done it since so maybe I'll try it again soon. It was some time after doing this card that I got the flowering flourishes stamp set but it's now one I keep going back to if I want a nice background for things as you may have noticed in my last post where I used it but forgot to put it on the list of materials. Sorry about that.

The materials used are:

Ink Pads: Island Indigo
Ink Refills: Island Indigo, Old Olive, Tangerine Tango
Card Stock: Island Indigo, Naturals White, Whisper White
Stamp Sets: Create a Cupcake (retired), Flower Shop, Flowering Flourishes, Petite Petals
Punches: Bitty Butterfly, Modern Label, Word Window
Ribbon: Organza
Accessories: baby wipes, Rhinestone basic jewels, Dazzle Marker Silver

Will be back again soon with more cards

Screen get well greeting

Hello there, so glad you dropped by

Well today I'm going to show you a card I made using the screen card video by Deb Valder, I think it is really lovely and so did my dear friend who is now recovering from a shoulder operation.  I looked at a few video's and liked this one the best, but the content is similar to someone's else's. Sorry I don't know your name but if you let me know who you are I will happily give you the credit. I did make some changes though.  The box was an extra as it was too thick to go neatly into an envelope. So I just measured and scored both the card stock and window sheet then added a bit of ruffle trim to hold it together.  Hope you like it.

The materials used are:

Ink Pads: Crisp Cantaloupe
Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Crisp Cantaloupe
Stamp Sets: En Français (retired), Papillon Potpourri
Embossing Folders: Beautifully Baroque
Punches: Bitty Butterfly Large Oval, Scallop Oval, Scallop Trim Border (retired)
Sentiments: Computer generated (Palace Script MT size 24)
Ribbon: Ruffle Stretch Trim (retired)
Accessories: Window Sheet, Handheld Stapler, Boutique Details (retired)

You could replace the ribbon with thick bakers twine and a button

Will be back again soon with more cards
