Sixteenth birthday

Sweet Sixteen

Well here in the UK we now seem to be into summer, the winter clothes have gone away (maybe a bad move, but we'll see) and the summer clothes are out. hopefully it will be sunshine all the way now?

Today it's the turn of Stephens daughter, born two days after his birthday and as you can see that was 16 years ago. She's gorgeous, tall blonde and beautiful. Towers above me now, but it only seems like yesterday she was a little bundle of joy in my arms. Oh how time flies.

I still have one more card for April so will be back in a couple of days with that one and then I'm onto May.  Not so many to do this month.

Birthday Boy!!!

Here is the card I made for my eldest Son, not going to say how old he is, he might not like it but next year he will be 2 x 21.

I had been trawling Utube and came across a similar card on Lea Denton's channel and thought it might work for Stephen.

Have you seen the retired list yet, I was really shocked to see how many of the punches were leaving us this year, but don't be afraid there are a lot of new thinlits etc to take there place.  Must admit they're much easier to cut then using a punch for me now. My wrists are not as good since I broke them last year.

The materials used are:
Ink: Lost Lagoon, Versa Mark
Card stock: Basic Black, Lost Lagoon, Very Vanilla
Stamps: Tin of Cards
Embossing powder: Black, Clear
Punches: 2 & 21/2 Circles
Thinlits: Little Letters (clear embossed before cutting)
DSP: Going Places
Accessories: Candy Dots (very vanilla)

Inspired by a card on Lea Denton’s Utube channel.

Will be back again soon with more cards
